Abstract

The atmosphere of El Progreso Town Center in the city of Pacasmayo has been, or continues to be, mainly due to the emission of gases, particulate matter and others by the cement factory, and as another minor agent is the automotive park. This research was carried out from the month of April to the month of July of the year with the objective of developing and implementing a prototype called. Box.DG to determine the pollution indexes that are affecting the atmosphere, being this way, it was based on a preexperimental investigation that takes as a population and shows the readings made of the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in the air. The execution of the development of the prototype was with the use of the life cycle method in V, created by various technologies, using Arduino, XBee modules, gas sensors, temperature and atmospheric pressure; next to this, a web control center was created through the Django framework, which allows manipulating the collected data. Finally, it was concluded that with the implementation of the prototype it was possible to determine the air pollution index for the municipality of Pacasmayo in said Poblado Center.
