Apply a maintenance plan in the dredger Marinero Rivas of port terminal of Salaverry to improve its operation

Abstract

For the present thesis, it will apply a maintenance plan in the dredger Marinero Rivas of Port Terminal of Salaverry to improve its operation. The thesis was applied to the dredger Marinero Rivas of the National Company of Ports of Peru - Enapu S.A. Which fulfills the function of dredging in the channel of access to ships for docking and uncoupling in the Port of Salaverry. It is a quantitative and qualitative research, for it was created a data collection data, which was validated by the specialists of both the company Enapu S.A. As the specialist adviser. Where the research time began in september 2016 to july 2017. Then based on this the current state of the dredger Marinero Rivas was determined, then a criticality analysis was applied to determine the critical equipment, then the Maintenance plan, to move to the next step of the projection of the maintenance plan, in the same way, it creates the maintenance formats, and the program of monitoring the  fulfillment of activities. Subsequently, new maintenance indicators are obtained, which were compared with the indicators obtained from the initial evaluation, in order to determine costs and return on investment. The study provided a favorable result, which increased and improved the maintenance indicators, and giving a return of investment of 64%, which is acceptable and profitable.
