This project called entitled "STUDY FOR IMPROVING THE STRETCH carrozable TROCHA Yamón - BUENOS AIRES - -District PROMISED LAND OF Yamón - province of Utcubamba - Amazonas department"; It aims to introduce the concepts of geometric and structural design of roads unpaved low volume of traffic.
The topography of the area is rugged and the survey method used the open traverse, using electronic theodolite. The geometric trace of the road has been made under the criteria established by Peruvian Standards DG _2014, resulting in a third-class road with 13,370 km long, with a speed guideline of 30 km / h, with an average slope of 6% and wide 6.00 m carriageway with two berms 0.50m each.
The structural design of the road was made using the method of AASHTO resulting in a Base and 20cm.
Study of soils was determined that the soils were predominantly low plasticity inorganic clay (CL) Clayey Gravel with Sand, low plasticity (GC) and inorganic silt (ML); SUCS according to the classification and A-4 (3), A-4 (4) and A-6-4 (0), according AASHTO. For the granular base material selected from the quarry Buenos Aires located 1km from the road under study were used.
The gutters are of triangular section with minimum dimensions of 0.35x0.75m coated concrete. TMC sewer 48 "in diameter was used.
Regarding the security must provide highway 87 traffic signs were placed.
