Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • For line spacing and font see the template; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript submissions and evaluation

1. Authors who apply for publication of their manuscripts must provide the researcher registration ID code in ORCID as an essential requirement. These authors can register on their website for free: https://orcid.org/
2. Remember that all proposals must be made through the OJS system and/or email: Revistaeduser@ucv.edu.pe
3. The journal will accept the participation of up to four (4) authors.
4. Each author may only participate in one (1) article per year.
5. APA 7 for citations and references will be applied.
6. The authors will present their editable tables and figures.
7. If the article includes photographs or images of elements that imply the right of reproduction by the author and the editors, the respective permissions must be sent.
8. To start the process, the author will attach:
- The Cover Letter (1) in the following format.
- Text of the article without authors (template).
- Text of the article with authors (template).
- Conflict of interest report and author contribution (template).
- Author data registration (form)

Normative composition of manuscripts

The preparation of the manuscript must be carried out entirely based on the APA 7 manual (seventh edition).

Suggested structure for Research and Review Articles (suggested template).

Complete title: it will be written in Spanish and English, considering a maximum length of fifteen (15) words. You must account for the content of the work, avoid starting with the use of articles. The font is Arial 14, bold, double spaced, centered.
Author data: The journal will accept the participation of up to four (4) authors, who may only publish one (1) article per year. It must be indicated: Surnames, first names; highest degree achieved; affiliation institution; city ​​Country; E-mail; and Orcid code.
Summary and abstract: In Spanish, written in the third person up to 250 words that includes a brief introduction, objective, methodology, results and conclusions. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.
Keywords: a minimum of three and a maximum of six keywords are established, separated by semicolons. They must conceptualize the main themes discussed in the article. It is suggested to consult the Unesco Thesaurus https://vocabularies.unesco.org/browser/thesaurus/en/page/domain1
Introduction: This section includes general information that allows justifying the problematic reality in which the research was developed. Establishes the relevance of the research for its field of study, referring to existing literature on the object of knowledge addressed. Knowledge gaps are highlighted that the present study aims to overcome. This section includes research questions, theoretically supported research hypotheses and the objectives defined in the study. Without sectioning or numbering. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.
Methodology: This section details the methodological elements that support and give methodological rigor to the research. It describes the paradigms in which the research is inserted, its design, type of study, population, sample, techniques, instruments, procedures and data analysis, among other elements that account for the strategies and methods followed in the research. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.

Results and discussion: data obtained during the study (tables and figures) are analyzed and discussed, specifying findings and contributions derived from the research. This section must be organized in a coherent and balanced manner and demonstrate the real and true contributions of the research and the added value it leaves to the scientific knowledge of the area worked on. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.
Conclusions: They must respond to the central objective of the research, specifying in a clear, concise and coherent manner the main findings and their relevance to the field of study. They should not constitute a repetition of the results. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.
Limitations of the study: This section mentions the limitations of the study, as well as the biases in sample selection in the measurement of the variables, and analyzes the limitations that could have affected the results. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.
Future lines of research: This section proposes possible directions for future research in the area based on the findings of the study and the questions that remain to be answered. The font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified.
References: They must be prepared respecting the APA Standard 7th edition. References to scientific articles published in the last five years in specialized databases should predominate. It is essential to ensure that all sources cited in the text are included in the reference list and that the source is correctly cited. References are included in sufficient quantity to support the research (minimum 50 references for review articles and 40 for research articles).
Figures and tables must be titled and numbered (included in the body of the manuscript); In addition, the source must be indicated (follow APA standards, seventh edition). Authors will present their tables and figures in editable format.
Authors must guarantee compliance with spelling and grammar rules and argumentative coherence in the speech.
The works must be between 5000 and 6000 words. Format in MS Word, A4, the font is Arial, 12 points, double spaced and the text justified. and margins of 3 centimeters on each side. For citations and references, APA Seventh Edition standards will be used (see manual).

Manuscript evaluation process:

1. Prior editorial evaluation (previous considerations: interest of the journal, relevance, format, structure, among others).
2. Peer evaluation (double-blind technique) See Format.
3. Closing editorial evaluation (similarity check).
4. Editorial corrections.
