Abstract

In the development of this research, a web-based monitoring system was developed to improve the management of criminal cases in the legal study ABC-Consultores of Trujillo district 2017, the general objective drawn up for the duration of this investigation is " Improve the management of follow-up of files via web in criminal cases in the legal study ABC-consultants, trujillo-2017 district, "by collecting data and information with the legal study, with the support of the assigned advisor, Was able to extract the population for the investigation, in this case is constituted by two hundred (200) records that handles the study regularly every year; The sample required for research suggests the use of a mathematical formula. Of the annual files handled by the legal study, only 132 have been required for the investigation. In order to obtain the necessary information, it was necessary to resort to methods and instruments of data collection, which consisted of surveys based on the management of the files handled by the lawyers who carry the criminal cases in the legal study, to carry out the analysis of Reliability of the data collection instrument. Subsequently, for the data analysis process, normality tests were used, using the Kolmogorov-Siminov method. Functional tests were used in the verification of the effectiveness of the system, to determine with the fulfillment of the expectations. During the hypothesis testing the veracity of the specific objectives could be verified, and it was verified if the general objective that was proposed for this investigation was the correct one. Proof of this compliance is that prior to the implementation of the system the average time in which the lawyers could access the files that had been stored in the archive store was 11.93 min. Later with the implementation of the system that time was improved reducing to 6 min. At the end of the investigation, the following conclusions were obtained: The reduction of the average time in the management of criminal cases and in the consultation of the files, and it was shown the increase in the satisfaction of the legal study workers.
