The present work is oriented to determine the chemical components and the effect of antibiosis "in vitro" of the honeybee, in front of gram positive and gram negative bacteria commonly causes of prevalent diseases in the population. For the analysis of the chemical screening primary and secondary metabolites were determined; by means of corresponding chemical reactions presenting flavonoids, steroids and leucoantocianidins. For the antibacterial effect the Kirby - Bauer method was used based on the diffusion of the honey through a layer of agar so solidified in an extension that the growth of sensible microorganisms is inhibited in zones around the disc. The antibiosis results were positive for Escherichia col, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus and negative for Klebsiella pneumoniae.
