Abstract

It has been done a research of nifedipine used as blocking of hipotalamic Ca channels, testing its possible antipiretic action both on the fever produced by LPS in rabbit. From the results we can determinate that the colonic temperature is increased significantly in its maximum ranges to the 80 minutes and the 180 minutes in animals wich received LPS also those which received LPS plus nifedipine respect to the control. The group treated with nifedipine was more hight.
