Abstract

The work in small groups is one of the fundamental props of the education centred on the student (ECE) and the learning based on problems (ABP). The learning in small groups groups (APG) promotes the discussion, the comprehension and the reasoning in top form, as well as the spirit of work in equipment(team). He(she) promotes the cooperation, collaboration and the constant stimulus of the members of the group. If the meetings are used for the integration and the reasoning, this form of learning allows that the students should obtain top degrees of comprehension, as well as the acquisition of educational varied skills, which are not achieved with traditional methodologies in that in which the student plays passive papers(roles). It(he,she) favors the skill of the student of being employed at group, of respecting the common aims(lenses) and of acquiring a sense of common task. Unlike the traditional systems that are based on the delivery of information and on the evaluation of how these they are memorized and repeated, the ECE establishes wider aims(lenses) and they favor that the student is aware and control of the process of his(its) own(proper) formation, playing an active paper(role) in the construction of the learning.
