Abstract

The objective of the present correlational investigation was to determine the relationship between the quality of family interaction and school violence in adolescents in the district of Trujillo. The sample was established by 376 students of secondary level of the district of Trujillo, between men and women. The Family Interaction Quality Scale by Weber, Müller, Salvador & Brandenburg (2008) and the School Violence Questionnaire (CUVE3-ESO) of Álvarez, Núñez & Dobarro (2013) were used. In the results, positive correlations were observed in the dimensions of Negative Communication, Punishment and Negative Marital Climate, as inverse correlations in the positive conjugal climate, Feelings of the children, Parental Model, Rules and Monitoring and Participation and positive Communication of the Family Interaction variable with the dimensions of School Violence.
