Abstract

We analyzed the relationship between parental socialization styles and Bullying in secondary students. The sample included 315 high school students from the parish school of St. Mary Cervelló-Nuevo Chimbote. We used a non-experimental, descriptive - correlational. Autotest was used Cisneros Bullying and Styles Inventory Parental Socialization (ESPA29) of Musitu and Garcia. It was found that 43.8% of fathers and 35.9% mothers have an indulgent parental socialization style, also found that 44.1% of referred students who have been harassed by their peers, with the most frequent form of aggression dimension. It was found that there is a significant but low in parental socialization styles of mother and bullying aggression dimension. Similarly it was found that there is significant relationship moderate parental socialization styles of Mother and bullying in students 12 years of age.
