Abstract

The present research had as objective to determine the influence of an emotional intelligence program in the level of antisocial behavior in students of the sixth grade of primary of the Educational Institution Augusto Alberto Alba Azcurra of the City of Trujillo. The research method developed was experimental, with a quasi - experimental design of pre - test type - posttest and intact groups (one of them control). The instrument used was the Questionnaire on antisocial behavior in childhood and adolescence (CASIA). The results showed a positive effect on the level of antisocial behavior of the students after the application of the emotional intelligence program, thus reducing in a high percentage the antisocial behaviors presented by the students.
