Abstract

Managerial abilities are the procedural aspect of the competences that allow to reach the success to the managers in the tasks they deal in their professional everyday activities. These are susceptible of learning and development, and it is a great interest of the university the implementation and deployment of strategies to reach optimal levels of them. The objective of this research is to determine the managerial abilities from students of business engineering from César Vallejo University in Chiclayo. The type of research is quantitative with a non-experimental descriptive diagnostic design, for this the population refers to 200 students and a sample of 50 students. The information was obtained through the field instrument called “managerial abilities test”, obtaining as a result a deficient level in 52% from the students who the instrument was applied.
