Abstract

This research is oriented to the relationship between cognitive and affective empathy and antisocial-criminal behaviors in 311 students of the district of Trujillo, with ages between 16 and 18 years. To collect the data, they were used in the Cognitive and Affective Empathy Test of Belén López - Pérez, Fernández - Pinto and Abad and the Questionnaire on Antisocial Criminal Conduct (A - D) by Nicolás Seisdedos. The results obtained showed that cognitive and affective empathy are related in the opposite direction and in small magnitude with the antisocial behaviors and in moderate magnitude with the criminal behaviors, in the group of women. In males, the relationship is moderate in antisocial behavior as criminal.
