SWOT analysis in the hotel and restaurant sector
case of a Creole food restaurant in the city of Trujillo

The present study has been carried out with the purpose of carrying out the strategic analysis of a Creole food Restaurant in the city of Trujillo (Peru), as a fundamental input for the process of formulating competitive strategies. The work has been developed as a case study; with non-experimental design, descriptive scope and cross-section. The data collection techniques used have been the interview and the documentary observation. The results have demonstrated a relatively strong internal position of the analyzed company and the development of relatively effective strategies to face the environment.
