Abstract

The main objective of the study was to determine how the business growth of the micro and small business sector (Mype) of Trujillo is affected by the existence of a weak / strong internal position to face the changes posed by the environment . To this end, an investigation with a qualitative-quantitative approach was designed, with a non-experimental design, with a descriptive scope and a transectional approach. A non-probabilistic sample was used for convenience of 33 mypes belonging to 2 sectors of economic activity and 5 districts of the province of Trujillo. The results obtained show a weak internal position of the Mype sector in the face of environmental changes.
