The study has sought to determine the relationship between the corporate reputation of the Savings and Loan Municipal Savings Banks (CMAC) operating in the city of Trujillo (Peru) and its financial performance. For this purpose, a quantitative study was designed, not experimental, descriptive-correlational and transectional, whose field work used as data collection techniques both the survey, for the first variable, and the panel data, for the second variable. A sample was selected for the convenience of clients to measure the corporate reputation of three CMACs, through a self-administered questionnaire. A period of twelve months was used to measure the financial performance of the same, through the calculation of three indicators: return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE) and portfolio performance. The results showed that there is no direct relationship between the corporate reputation and the financial performance of the CMACs operating in the city of Trujillo.
