Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the communication and the organizational commitment of the workers of the Municipality of Santiago de Cao, Ascope, Peru, 2016. In this sense, a work of research with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptivecorrelational and transactional. Of a population of 190 workers, a sample of 52 administrative workers was studied, who were given a self-administered questionnaire, divided into two sections, to measure their perception of the variables mentioned. The results have shown that the hypothesis has been verified, having found a direct (0,331) and significant (0,017) relationship between communication and organizational commitment, in the perception of the workers surveyed. It has also been shown that the two dimensions of organizational communication have a direct or positive relationship with organizational commitment, these relationships being significant.
