Human resources management and job satisfaction practices in a state financial institution

Abstract

This research has been carried out with the objective of determining if there is a direct and significant relationship between human resources management practices and the job satisfaction of workers of a state financial institution. The investigation is, by its purpose, of applied type; by its character, correlational type; by its nature, quantitative type; by its temporal scope, of transversal type; and, for the orientation it assumes, oriented type. The sample population has been constituted by a total of 90 workers, to whom a self-administered questionnaire was applied, having obtained a response rate of 70%. The results confirm the existence of a direct and significant relationship between human resources management practices and workers’ job satisfaction.
