This is a cross-sectional study, simple correlational, carried out to determine the relationship between the risk of comorbidity of chronic non-communicable disease (CNCD) and the level of physical activity (PA) in the personnel, working at the Hospital to support "San Ignacio" of Casma (HSSIC). They were evaluated at 62 workers between the ages of 25 and 50, with no medical history, 44 females and 18 males. Glycemia was carried out at random and blood pressure as an exclusion criterion, then took the measure of abdominal perimeter (AP) and applied the questionnaire IPAQ short version to measure the level of PA. The 46.77 % classified as very high risk of comorbidity of CNCD, the 27.42 % with a high risk and the 25.81 % with normal risk; of these, the largest percentage of women classified at very high risk (56.82 %) unlike the boys where the highest percentage (55.56%) was found in normality. The 53.23 % presents low level of PA (30.3 % males and 69.7 % women). The Chi-square test showed that there is no relationship (p value = 0.169 ) between the variable level of risk of comorbidity of CNCDs and level of PA in the studied population, on the contrary there is significant relationship (p = 0.002 ) between the gender and level of risk of comorbidity of CNCD, with predominance of the female gender.
