Abstract

The present study used a pre-experimental design, with pre and post test, whose objective was to determine whether the application of the workshop "Game-Based Learning (ABJ)", develops the mathematical skills of organizing number relationships and operations in first graders CEP Primary Education "Perpetuo Socorro” of Trujillo. The population consisted of 142 children in first grade and the sample of 70 children, 35 of the first degree D (experimental group), and 35 children in the first grade (control group). The techniques used were the written test to measure the mathematical skills consisting of 20 questions, and your instrument observation checklist.

Test was used for normal distribution of mean differences to establish the relationship between the variables with a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated that there is significant difference between the average obtained by students in the pretest and posttest experimental group Zc> Zt (17> 7.8), allowing us to say that the implementation of the road "ABJ" has significantly developed the mathematical skills of organizing number relationships and operations in first grade children.
