This research aimed to evaluate the lifestyles and the relationship with nutritional status and blood pressure in women over 40 years old. Wichanzao – La Esperanza. 2015. We worked with a design of correlational cross non-experimental research. The population consisted of 3424 women inhabitants; the sample was 147 women over 40 years and was calculated using the formula for finite population. For data collection techniques were used as the survey to assess lifestyles. The nutritional status was assessed by determining the BMI, for which it was used, balance and stadiometer. The abdominal circumference was measured with a tape measure and blood pressure using sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. To determine the relationship between the variables, the statistical test Chi Square was used with 95% confidence and with a significance level of 0.05. It was concluded that nutritional status is significantly related to nutritional status (p = 7x10-5), to abdominal circumference (p = 2.7x10-5) and to blood pressure (p = 0.002) in women over 40 years old in Wichanzao- La Esperanza. 2015.
