Repercusión de la violencia de género en parejas durante la pandemia relacionado con el confinamiento prolongado

Resumen

El objetivo del estudio fue analizar el desarrollo de la revisión minuciosa de las evidencias científicas para determinar si existió violencia de género y que características tuvo en tiempos de COVID-19 a nivel mundial, para ello se empleó estudios entre 2019 hasta 2021 de tres bases de datos especializadas: Scopus, EBSCO y Jane. Los resultados encontrados visibilizan que la violencia de género es una nueva pandemia social y económica mundial, además de ser un problema de salud pública, la cual se incrementó durante el tiempo de pandemia en forma vertiginosa, reportado en números de casos de morbilidad y mortalidad. Cabe señalar, que las características de la violencia impuesta a la mujer son el abuso sexual, dominio del varón, aislamiento de las redes de apoyo, entre otros. Asimismo, se resalta que los tipos de violencia prevalentes son: físico, psicológico y sexual según los casos reportados. Se concluye que la mayoría de mujeres son sometidas a la violencia de género y esta se ha incrementado a causa del confinamiento obligatorio en tiempo de pandemia, prolongándose en períodos de violencia ante la presencia del agresor y el dominio que él ejerce con acciones cada vez con mayor agresividad.
