Abstract

This study deals with the generation of manufactured gas through the gasification of biomass from agricultural waste generated by the company Camposol S.A, with the purpose of being used as fuel in the 300BHP shell boiler. It was determined that the cauldron with industrial oil N ° 6, consumes 432 Kg / h. Also, the cauldron with manufactured gas would consume 3564 Kg / h. For the correct operation, a Riello gas burner was selected, model 10P / M with a nominal power of 4885KW. The amount of mass for the generation of manufactured gas resulted 1908 Kg / h. The gas storage tank was designed in a spherical shape with a volume of 1549 m ^ 3, with an internal pressure of 14bar and a temperature of 293 ° K, obtaining a spherical tank with a radius of 7.17 m. The benefit of the project amounts to 1042629.00 U $$ / year, with an investment of 436106.07 U $$ and an operational return of the investment of 6 months, VAN of 5002367.00 U $$ and TIR

239%.
