Design for the improvement and expansion of the irrigation channel between the landowners of Yeguada part baja and Aractullan, district of Mollepata, province of Santiago de Chuco - La Libertad

Abstract

The present project proposes the Design for the improvement and expansion of the irrigation channel between the villages of Yeguada Baja and Aractullan, district of Mollepata, province of Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad, which has an operational deficit and transports 112.35 l / s that supplies 126.38 hectares, with a canal designed without technical criteria (curves of less than 10 meters and a slope greater than 5 per thousand, which allows the existence of sedimentation in the first kilometers, thus decreasing its flow), which consequently cause filtrations, landslides and does not manage to supply the 622.04 hectares that the project has. The project has a rough surface of type II with slopes of 1% to 38%, with a gravel-like soil with variations in the clayey gravel, with a permissible load capacity of 2.04 kg / cm2 in the basin, however in Deposits and sections with 1.97 kg / cm2, classified as stable floor and good resistance to loads. In the hydrological study, a maximum supply of 0.61m3 / s and a demand of 0.35m3 / s was obtained. The channel was designed with the demand of the crop and with the software of H channels to obtain the sections in the variation of the slope, so that it complies with what ANA stipulates in its designs of hydraulic works, in the project it has one outlet, a deviator, a reservoir of 30 m3 for reserves of use, 41 metal gates to distribute water in plots, 3 vertical drops to dissipate energy, deflectors in areas that exceed 15% slope to reduce water velocity, with a thickness of 0.07 m and concrete When covering 175 kg / cm2, it was determined that the impact is positive at the end of the project, obtaining a budget of S /. 1, 283,501.40 PEN.
