Implementation of a system of Occupational Safety and Health to reduce accidents at work in aquaculture company Scallops Frozen Ocean

This research aims to implement a system of Occupational Safety and Health occupational accidents in the company Frozen Ocean Scallops. Based on a model of the system OHSAS 18001 was developed; with the application of IPERC matrix and measuring labor accident rates. The initial perception was found in a medium level of security with a 55.86%, an initial analysis of the accident for months May to September 2014 was obtained 22.67; 9.92; 8.50; fifteen; 81 and 48.90 respectively which indicate the time accidents per 1,000 workers of the company. Moreover IPERC matrix indicated by decreased intolerable degree of risk to 10%, and intolerable to 0%, the accident rate for the mentioned period of 2015 was 33.62; 2.83; 0; 7.91; 6.11 respectively where an increase in the first month was obtained, it was controlled. The final perception was 82.2%. It was concluded that statistical accident rates achieving risk prevention, working procedures safer as the conditions are reduced.
