Abstract

It was carried out the linguistic adaptation, reliability analysis, item-test correlations and norms of the 17 scales from the de Situational Personality Questionnaire by Fernández, Seisdedos y Mielgo (2001). Then, this questionnaire was administered to 520 high-school students from state schools from Lima. Internal consistency was higher than ,70 in the most of the scales, and all the item-test correlations were significant (p<,05). Boys scored higher than girls in emotional stability, independence, tolerance and sincerity, and girls scored higher than boys in self-control, sociability, social intelligence and leadership. No differences between gender were found in, among others, self-concept, anxiety and aggressiveness.
