This is an interpretation of poem IX of Trilce, which tries to show that the poet does not discriminate against women but, ahead of the recognition of Third-generation human rights, especially of women, he presents this song of eulogy where women are praised as an indispensable and unique person in the act of loving. He rec-ognizes her special status for sexual intercourse, her right to sexual enjoyment, and her right to respect for her condition as a generator of life. The act of providing pleasure for the couple in affective sexual relationships is an act of love; it is a perfect way for af-fective, intellectual and physical ─that is to say, humanly─ sharing. For this purpose, the poem is analyzed verse by verse in order to seek a metaphorical and interpretative coherence to all the undetermined parts of the text.
