The Cuban Educational System in Forming Professional Competences

Abstract

The study of professional competencies has as a context the universe of human resources in any modern entity. The System of Human Resources Management de-fines the most general principles for the functioning, development and mobilization of all members of the organization in order to achieve objectives consistent with their mission and their shared vision. In the present article, a revision of the concept of professional com-petencies in specialized literature is carried out and it is defined on the part of the authors in order to set forth the Cuban institutional system for the training of professional compe-tencies.
