These outcomes, while seemingly positive at first glance, often don’t reflect a deep understanding, which can impact instrumental practice and subsequently deteriorate the cognitive musical process. The aim of this research was to implement a rhythmic exercise program for Theory and Analysis I students, with the intent of enhancing musical language. The research design was pre-experimental, focusing on a sample of 15 students from the first cycle of the Public Artistic Training Higher School of Bagua. A Likert-type scale based on two quantitative variables was used for evaluation. The statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS v.25 software. In the pre-test, students achieved an arithmetic mean of 3.73, using KR20, indicating that 100% were at a low level. However, after the post-test, the same student cohort reached an average of 17.33 points, with 93.3% ranking between the high and very high levels in relation to the dependent variable. In summary, this research demonstrates that the rhythmic exercise program was effective in significantly developing musical language.

Keywords: Music; Musical Performance; Musical Language; Musical Instrument.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Allyson Armando León Jibaja, Osmer Agustín Campos Ugaz, Elvis Manuel Aponte Leónhttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2613The Totorales of Huanchaco: Support of a Millenary Cultural Tradition2023-07-31T21:23:20-05:00Pedro Iberico Portocarreropedroibe@hotmail.es
This research focuses on northern Peru, particularly the resort town of Huanchaco, and highlights the traditional use of totora reeds as a millennia-old cultural element of the Chimú civilization. It details the importance of this plant as an essential raw material for the construction of the "caballito de totora," whose cultural symbolism transcends national borders. Additionally, it analyzes the significance of this tradition for the development of handicrafts and tourism in the northern region. The study is supported by a legal framework that includes conventions, resolutions, and ordinances that regulate the management of this crucial natural resource, notably the Ramsar Convention, which focuses on the conservation of wetlands worldwide. From an ethnobotanical perspective, the medicinal and nutritional uses of the totora are systematized. The factors contributing to the vulnerability of these natural ecosystems are presented. Similarly, the process of constructing a "caballito de totora", its dimensions and necessary characteristics for navigation, are explained. Lastly, the study identifies the problems, both of anthropogenic and natural origin, that threaten the long-term survival of this plant, which has grown since immemorial times in the wetlands of northern Peru.

Keywords: Caballito de totora; cultural heritage; urban resilience; cultural tradition; Huanchaco; Chimú culture.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Pedro Iberico Portocarrerohttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2625Corporate Sustainability with the Contribution of Occupational Safety and Health2023-08-22T23:29:01-05:00Karina Alexandra Plua Pantakplua@uteq.edu.ecErika Alexandra Morales Pluaemorales@gmail.comInés Elizabeth Tenelema Jiménezitenelema@gmail.comJoel David Cabrera Moreirajcabrera@gmail.com
Corporate sustainability has established itself as a fundamental pillar in the business world, providing companies with a competitive edge and adding value not only to the organizations themselves but also to their stakeholders and society at large. The primary aim of this research is to determine how advancements in workplace safety and health contribute to the sustainability of companies in Ecuador. Within this framework, the relationship between workplace safety and sustainability is of paramount importance. Through an in-depth literary review on corporate sustainability, with a particular emphasis on industrial safety, this study delves into the influence of workplace safety and health measures on business sustainability in Ecuador. Despite having a solid regulatory framework in place, a concerning non-compliance with regulations is detected in both the public and private sectors. Furthermore, there’s a noticeable gap in the training and awareness of workers regarding their rights when facing risks associated with their tasks. The conclusions highlight a significant disparity between theory and practical application, emphasizing the efficiency of management systems in Occupational Risk Prevention when properly implemented.

Keywords: Sustainability; Companies; Industrial Safety; Occupational Risk.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Karina Alexandra Plua Panta, Erika Alexandra Morales Plua, Inés Elizabeth Tenelema Jiménez, Joel David Cabrera Moreirahttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2623Ineffectiveness of Law N° 30490 to guarantee the Fundamental Rights of Older Adults in a Peruvian Region2023-08-19T19:29:41-05:00Xiomara Cabrera Cabreraxiomarcabreraca@crece.uss.edu.peLilia Marina Tapia Vásquezltapia@gmail.comCelin Pérez Nájeracperezn@gmail.com
The need to seek alternative solutions to the situation of abandoned, unprotected, invisibility in which older people are in vulnerable conditions was the primary motivation for developing this study, the purpose of which was to analyze the ineffectiveness in the application of Law No. 30490, which protects the fundamental rights of the elderly in Peru. The research is applied descriptive; the doctrinal legal method is used, with a mixed approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. Magistrates, specialists in Family Law, and authorities of public entities were taken as study units, applying a questionnaire. The observation was used as a technique; documentary analysis, articles, laws, and doctrines. The family is considered to be the main responsible for the violation of the rights of the older adult and the state itself with its entities, which must fulfill the purposes of public function, prioritizing and optimizing the resources they have, following the Law of the Framework for the Modernization of State Management. The main contribution of this research is that it concludes in a proposal, type bill, that seeks to modify article 25, Law No. 30490 of Title III, Chapter I, for a new definition of Older Adult Person, to achieve the timely identification and protection of this age group.

Keywords: Demographic Aging; Older Adult Person; Vulnerability; Social Victimization.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Xiomara Cabrera Cabrera, Lilia Marina Tapia Vásquez, Celin Pérez Nájerahttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2626Emotional impact and its impact on families of pregnant adolescents2023-08-22T23:52:46-05:00María Joaquina Mera Picojoakimera22@gmail.comMónica Katherine Murillo Morammurillo@gmail.com
Teenage pregnancy has historically been a topic that brings about various connotations within the family unit, impacting its emotional well-being. The purpose of this study was to examine the current emotional impact faced by families with pregnant teenagers. This non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional research was based on the sociocritical paradigm and adopted a mixed-methods approach, both qualitative and quantitative. 20 families with pregnant teenagers aged between 10 and 19 were studied. A three-part questionnaire was used: the first part gathered general data about the teenager, the second used the Family Apgar to evaluate family functionality, and the third consisted of 10 questions about the impact of pregnancy on the family environment. Results indicated that most of the pregnant teenagers were between 15 and 19 years old and had completed secondary education. Most did not live with their partners and belonged to single-parent households with a low to regular socioeconomic status. Significant changes in behavior, relationships, and communication within the family were observed. Some teenagers faced discrimination due to their pregnancy, which affected their academic activities, leading to negative emotions and impacting their emotional development.

Keywords: Pregnancy; Adolescence; Emotional Impact; Family.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 María Joaquina Mera Pico, Mónica Katherine Murillo Morahttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2627Implementation of disaster risk reduction management of Visayas state university, Tolosa, province of Leyte-Philippines2023-08-23T00:03:25-05:00Marieli Cherry Catacio Cipresmarielicherry@gmail.com
In Leyte, one of the Philippines’ disaster-prone provinces, effective Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) is crucial for safeguarding lives and properties. This research explored gaps in DRRM implementation at Visayas State University Tolosa for 2022 using a qualitative case study approach. Focusing on the university’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee, comprising seven members, semi-structured interviews were conducted to discuss policy and standard requirements for academic institutions, observing ethical research principles. Four themes emerged: Institutional Preparedness, Disaster Risk Prevention and Awareness, Lifesaving and Protective Equipment, and Budget for Resilient Building Reconstruction. Key findings highlighted the importance of enhancing the university’s disaster policies, strategies, and building infrastructure. Adherence to the Philippine Building Code and a specific emergency plan, coupled with increased awareness campaigns, were deemed essential for improved safety. Notably, gaps were identified in the provision of rapid communication technology, solar lighting, powerful generators, and emergency vehicles. The study also underscored the necessity for dedicated funding to foster resilient building infrastructure, ensuring a safe environment for the university community.

Keywords: Implementations; Disaster Risk Reduction Management; School.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Marieli Cherry Catacio Cipreshttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2628The Evolution of Oil Exports in Ecuador’s Economic Growth2023-08-23T00:21:17-05:00Jorge Luis Bernal Yamucabjorgel@uteq.edu.ecJosé Luis Rivera Velascojrivera@gmail.comRoger Tomás Yela Burgosryela@gmail.comNivaldo Apolonides Vera Valdiviezonvera@gmail.comMaría Fernanda Barros Arechuambarros@gmail.comEduarda Mayerli Villafuerte Guamánevillafuerte@gmail.com
The present study is crucial to establish the link between oil exports and Ecuador’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), to provide empirical proof of the nation’s oil dependence. The research used a descriptive analysis of the exogenous variables (oil exports, foreign direct investment, and inflation) to establish their level of incidence in the endogenous variable (GDP). To determine the statistical influence between the study variables, a multiple linear regression model was estimated using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method through Stata statistical software. The influence on GDP was determined, creating validations on the independent variables, whose findings allowed us to confirm that there is a clear link between crude oil exports and gross domestic product, which affects the economic growth of the country. In this context, exports demonstrated a statistically significant positive effect, that is, for each additional unit of the oil exports variable, the expected effect will be, on average, an increase in gross domestic product.

Keywords: Economic Growth; Neoclassical; Gross Domestic Product; Econometric Model; Oil Exports.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jorge Luis Bernal Yamuca, José Luis Rivera Velasco, Roger Tomás Yela Burgos, Nivaldo Apolonides Vera Valdiviezo, María Fernanda Barros Arechua, Eduarda Mayerli Villafuerte Guamánhttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2612Importance of Secure Attachment and Parent-Child Bonding in the Physical and Emotional Development of Children2023-07-31T21:00:08-05:00Josselyn Andreina Sánchez Vélezjoselyn.sanz@hotmail.comOscar Elías Bolívar Chávezoscar.bolivar@utm.edu.ec
The purpose of this study was to design an intervention plan focused on secure attachment and the bond between parents and children, with the goal of positively influencing the development of children. This plan is intended for parents and future parents from the Los Tamarindos-Portoviejo, Ecuador. It is recognized that secure attachment and the creation of strong bonds are fundamental elements in child-rearing, and therefore, in their development. Although it is not a simple task, it is essential that it is carried out in a comprehensive manner. Therefore, the present research was conducted with a qualitative approach, working with families who participated in a subjective interview. The results demonstrated that there are deficiencies in the aspects evaluated, particularly in relation to the overprotection of children, which has distorted the essence of parental bonds. This reveals the need to promote guidance strategies in families to improve attachment styles in the family environment, which will contribute to the comprehensive formation of each individual.

Keywords: Secure attachment; bonds; family; upbringing.
2023-07-31T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Josselyn Andreina Sánchez Vélez, Oscar Elías Bolívar Chávezhttp://revistas.ucv.edu.pe/index.php/espergesia/article/view/2630FPTP Electoral System of Myanmar as a Barrier for Ethnic Minority Inclusiveness in Parliamentary Decision-Making2023-08-26T02:46:03-05:00Yamonh Pwint Thityamonhpwintthit77@gmail.com
Objective: This study aimed to analyze limitations in Myanmar’s political system that hindered inclusive participation of ethnic minorities in decision-making. The goal was to understand the impact of these limitations on minority representation and propose solutions for more equitable representation. Methodology: A documentary research design and systematic literature review were employed. Secondary data were gathered from academic articles and civil society reports on ethnic diversity, the non-inclusive political system, and challenges of the electoral system. Primary data from news and NGO reports were used to analyze election results and minority representation in parliament. Results: Findings revealed that ethnic minorities in Myanmar faced barriers in accessing public services and being represented in the political system. The FPTP electoral system exacerbated their underrepresentation, as only winners’ voices were heard in parliament. Lack of inclusivity and equitable representation contributed to internal conflicts and civil wars between ethnic groups and the government. Conclusions: This study identified fundamental flaws in Myanmar’s political system that hindered inclusive decision-making for ethnic minorities. The need for reforms to enable more equitable government representation and address ethnic tensions was highlighted. A review of the FPTP electoral system was proposed to ensure fair and just representation of all voices in parliament. These measures would strengthen the human security of ethnic minorities and promote stability and cohesion in Myanmar.

Keywords: Ethnic Minorities; Inclusive Representation; Myanmar Political System; FPTP Electoral System; Human Security.
2023-08-12T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2023 Yamonh Pwint Thit
